Absolutely fantastic store and service! We live around the corner and have used Doggie Douche for a multitude of things now.
Firstly, we've washed our golden retriever Bruno there and it's always pleasant and clean. The system where you can enter with a card at your own convenience is fun, too, because early morning walks are an option and there's no wait for the store to open. The location near the forest is fantastic because our golden just loves muddy, murky water...
Secondly, they have a fun array of snacks, treats and food that I haven't seen anywhere else, all organic, too. We especially loved the Smoofl ice cream treats and the cookies you bake yourself!
Thirdly, we've used their dogsitting services, which was also a really good experience. They are great with our dog and treat him like he's part of their family. I felt confident and reassured leaving my dog with them and he obviously felt right at home because they create such a warm and welcoming environment.
Fourthly, they rent out brain games per week, which is also a fun thing because our dog tends to figure them out quite quickly, so for the price of purchasing one of these rather pricy games, we can rent a new one each week, keeping him stimulated and challenged.
Finally, we've used their dog walking service. I was home sick and couldn't walk our dog, so they even came by to pick him up. They went for a long walk in the forest, even though it was rainy and windy out. Our dog, true to form, had some fun in a muddy puddle, so they sent us a text saying that they'd be a little late bringing him back because they went to the trouble of rinsing him off, delivering a minty fresh and happily worn-out dog at our doorstep.
I highly, highly recommend Doggie Douche, because they are nice, provide great and personal service and obviously have a warm heart for dogs!
