A little hidden gem in the city of Antwerp. This museum houses a wide range of intriguing medieval art meticulously placed in the various historic rooms. The building itself is well worth the visit on its own. Gorgeous wall coverings, stained glass and expressive furnishings complete the visit for an intimate museum experience. Considering the limited size of the building, plan a visit in advance, during a calm time slot for example. Easy to complete on their website. Bring a headset for a full audio-experience!

What a magnificent collection of beauty! The building itself was worth a visit of a few hours. I enjoyed watching each corner. If you're interested in art from Dutch speaking part of Europe (nowadays Belgium and partially The Netherlands) then this is the place to be. You will find art in various forms: from paintings to sculptures to jewelry. You'll definitely need a few hours if you like to study each piece.
