Visited back in September and only added the monument to TripAdvisor recently. This monument stands in tribute to the 14th Line Regiment of the Belgian army that fought in World War one. The monument was designed by sculptor Edmond Falise and can be found at the foot of the citadel of Liege, just after you climb the Montagne de Bueren. The monument is shaped like a rectangular obelisk with a wall of honour near the base. The front of the monument has a bas-relief sculpture of an angel, while the back depicts scenes of battles and soldiers, along with a dedication (in French). The monument is not a must see, but if you do make it up, there are some fantastic views of Liege below.

A voir ! Le point de vue y est magnifique ! Et on découvre un panaroma très large par temps dégagé. N'hésitez pas à vous rendre vers les sentiers de promenade en vous éloignant du monument. Celui ci se trouvera a votre droite au point de vue en acier.. empruntez l'escalier et suivez le sentier rouge a travers bois pour vous retrouver tout en contrebas dans le centre de Liège.
