Great African kitchen. I had fish wrapped in a banana leaf. Was a great experience. The service could improve.

A very authentic and delicious African food. Regularly coming back for my favorite lamb with banana (dibi). Very friendly staff.

Good food, nice atmosphere. Great prices for the portions. You can have events there. A bit slow service though.

DIBI was a good plate...but what sold it was the spicy sauce

The restaurant offers traditional African cuisines. Friendly staffs and food was tasty. Not much options for vegetarians but they still provide some alternatives which are good for vegetarians.

Nice ambiance, great coat service. I personally didn't really enjoy my meal but my friends said it was good. We all had the same meal.

I was very disappointed with my last visit at Horloge du Sud. I can definitely not recommend to go there with larger groups. Even after a long discussion, they charged us for dishes we had not ordered. Furthermore, half of the group paid for side dishes, though it was indicated in the menu that you can choose your side dish and though I had asked waitress A explicitly if this was the case. I ordered a water carafe with tap water from waitress A. 30 min later, waitress B reprimanded me that water carafes were not common in Belgium, but only in France bringing me a bottled water. I refused to take it. 5 min later, waitress A, who had not heard of the discussion with B, served us water carafes. Apparently, the restaurant has carafes exactly for this purpose. I was responsible for a group of 15 people and had reserved a table for us. The whole situation brought me in a very uncomfortable situation. The restaurant still reserves 2 stars, because the food was very good.
