You step out of the city and into the woods. Although you can still hear automobile traffic anywhere you go, you are also surrounded by the trees and can hear the birds as well. There is an arboretum in addition to the woods. Highly recommended for a beautiful day for walking and seeing nature.

Mooi overzicht van de bomen, dieren en bioversiteit. Ook de geschiedenis, de houtsoorten en de werktuigen die gebruikt worden in het Zonienwoud komen aan bod. Aangepast voor kinderen. Nu ook aangevuld met een literaire tentoonstelling.
Super interessant museum. Ook de Kinderen vonden het geweldig. Veel opgezette dieren. Een gedetailleerde beschrijving van het ontstaan en de evolutie van het Zonienwoud en het arboretum. Uitgebreide en visuele informatie over het ontstaan van het bos, boomsoorten, vogelsoorten,.. En helemaal gratis. Combineer jouw bezoek met een fikse wandeling in het arboretum en jouw dag is geslaagd!
