Love love love this place! Not only do they have around 30 craft beers on tap (well actually, a few taps are reserved for other stuff, like an amazing cider), they also have the best BBQ food in Flanders. Brisket, beef ribs, smoked fish etc with amazing side dishes too. On a nice day you can sit outside at the long picnic tables and just enjoy :)

Drink some special craft beers from the DOKBREWERY brew pub, eat some pizza or pasta from OFFICINA RAFAELLI, a burger from BOEF or some smoked meat or vegetables from ROK. All located in Hal 16. Easy parking below building, get 1 hour for free when validating your ticket in the pub.

It takes a bit of effort to get to this place, but you will be rewarded. Take tram 4 that runs through central Gent to stop ‘Neuseplein’ turn right at x roads and Docs complex is on the right. Hal16 is to the rear of the complex, behind all the shops. The tastefully restored dock building houses a brewery, bar, cafe, Italian restaurant, baker and BBQ shack. All seem to be doing well and the whole place has a buzz about it. The bar has 30 tap beers, 10 of which come from the house brewery, which is located behind the long bar. The 20 other beers on offer constitute probably the best craft beer menu in Gent. Prices are what you would expect, not cheap, but doable and the house brews offer particular value. The BBQ shack is a winner, as for the other elements, yet to try, but all look promising.
