Lovely place off the beaten path, with authentic tapas and Spanish wines and beers. They also have vegetarian options. Have been there several times and will be going back many more. Truly one of a kind!

The owners know what real tapas is, as (I believe) one of them is Spanish. All food was freshly made, very authentic and above all: tasty!. This is the only 'true' tapas restaurant in Ghent. Highly recommended!
The best tapas restaurant in Ghent. Be sure to try out the albondigas and patatas bravas, both with delicious sauce. The staff is friendly and relaxed and the food is authentic. Don't forget to ask for the specials or check out the board. There are several options for vegetarians as well.
It's hard to find authentic Spanish cuisine in Belgium, but Con Tigo and its Madrilenian cook, managed to bring the real feel to Ghent. From the Spanish radio to the tin cans on the table, everything feels genuine. The food was excellent and the price reasonable. It tasted home-cooked. The only suggestion I'd have is to increase the heating on the upper floor. It was a bit chilly.
Owner is really friendly and has Spanish roots. Not a lot of options on the menu but great tastes.
Good food, cosy atmosphere, friendly service. Perfect for a friends night out!
