Nice historical site. Very interesting history, amazing site to visit. And a great place to take a walk around and on top of the fort after the visit

You get quite a lot for the amount of money you pay. The fort is really impressive. You see history in its real and lively context rather than through museum glasses, especially destruction caused by German attack. Staff are friendly and willing to answer a lot of questions of yours. One of the most worth-paying-a-visit ww2 monuments in my opinions

Amazing place to visit. Be sure to know if they're open before you visit, but there's still plenty to see up top even if the fortress is closed. We were incredibly lucky and ran across Bart, a volunteer who gave us an ad hoc and in depth tour that made our trip. He was extremely knowledgeable and it was obvious that this is his passion. Make sure to give yourselves half a day if they're open, and 1-2 hours if you're exploring the top.

Incredible place to visit as a day trip from Maastricht. I cycled in and did not take too long. Beautiful scenery along the way, and definitely worth visiting if you’re interested in history and the dynamics of what border cities used to be like during war-times in Western Europe.

Absolutely amazing place where history was made. We had a 6 hour tour which seemed like 1 hour. The guide was very good and knew the history. The fort is pretty much like it was left after the german attack. Still can't believe what the germans pulled off with 63 men against the premiere fortress in the world at that time and 640 soldiers. Be sure to call ahead and arrange for the guide. This is a must see for any military historian.

Simply amazing! Must be seen to be believed! Strongest fort in Europe fell in 30 minutes!
