Uncle Garby. If there had to be one place to visit, this would definitely be it! This spot should be put into the Brussels number one must visit spot. If you don’t like cheese and meat sandwiches, just come for Uncle Garby. No matter who you are, you are leaving with a smile. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I didn’t stop smiling. Such a great attitude towards customers. You feel like family and that you are his only customer. Many other restaurants should take note of Uncle Garby and learn and thing or two. On top of that amazing service, the sandwiches were delicious and exactly what you want even if you didn’t know before you walked in.

The sandwich is excellent. He lets you try before buying it and he is a very friendly man. Due to corona, it’s not as crowded anymore but do visit if you’re ever in Brussels!! Would recommend this place

With a cozy, joyful welcome, great cheeses and carefully prepared sandwiches, this tiny spot should be among the first bites you take when you arrive from Centraal. Well worth the patience, I’ve never seen someone leave without a smile on their face.
What an excellent meal! My wife and I stopped in for lunch and were blown away by the owners hospitality. You can tell he is very passionate and attentive to his craft and makes everyone feel welcome. We will be back!!
Shop owner is friendly and was speaking English, Spanish, and French to people. He was recommending different types of sandwiches and insists that you taste before you pay. Long wait but well worth it.
Believe every good review because Tonton Garby is everything and more. He is so invested in the happiness of the customer and he is so warming in inviting you into his humble shop! I went at a low hour, but I would wait for this sandwich. So many different choices of cheese and meats, and such a helpful attitude. I’m so thankful for small businesses like theses, which has given me hope in customer service. A!!
This little place is making very delicious sandwiches with wonderful cheeses! Owners are two brothers who are making the sandwiches with love. They value their guests and take care of them very well. I loved this little place and their hospitality
