Spacious living room and fully equipped kitchen. The sofa bed was really easy to open and close, but not so comfortable for sleeping-curvy in the middle. Large bedroom, which would be perfect if it had a closet instead of a hanged textile selve-thing. Imagine the clothes of 4 people (ladies 3 of them ;) ! The location was really good and safe, having near a bus and metro station, a Care-fur Express market, an Irish pub and a nice Italian Restaurant. The cost for bus or metro is 2,1 so sometimes we walked to the centre, a distance of 30 minutes... You cannot have it all! We had booked another house near the centre but the host canceled last minute with no excuse and the only descent and trustful solution, was Smartflats. You can really trust and rely on them, much more than other individual hosts. They even have a lounge in the centre, where you can have a cup of coffee and leave your luggage from 09:00-18:00, which is really convenient.

Stayed here with 4 more friends and it was relatively ok. The pictures that advertised the place were definitely from a few years back because it looked like it had seen a few parties (marks and chips on the walls). What was most disappointing was the bed sheets and pillowcases: they weren't very clean. In fact, mine was rather smelly and the other one was dirty. One word of caution: the stairs leading to the apartment and the ones inside, leading to the bedroom, are extremely small and if you're not ultra careful (and/or drunk), you'll definitely fall flat on your face.

My positive reviews appearently helped cause in part the unavailability in Brussels of my favourite hangouts; fully booked or way out of my budget range.THEN i found Smartflats! A fully equipped appartment at 4 star level. Available, excellently located and well within budget. I don't think I'll go back to hotels

I was lied to about parking... it is only free after 6pm and it is street parking... so good luck with that... The building suppose to have motion lights that never worked during our stay. I tripped and fell twice because of dark corridors and ripped floor mat... Bathroom has a shower that is installed right next to faucet.. so you have to sit down in tub to take a shower.. if you are a tall person or someone with back problems..... well then you are SOL!! I will NOT stay there nor will I recommend this place to my family and friends... I sincerely wish you have a better experience then I did..

Spacious but dull. Decoration based on too dark colors. Reasonable equipment but TV didn't work. No replacement or repair during all week. Customer service sucks! :(

This are very nice apartements, located on a quite street right in the center of Brussels. All the major EU institutions are 5 minutes walk away. There is no reception, but thr check in and out process are so well organized that you don't feel the need for anything. Perfect for business travelers.
