Don't try and order a meal in English, unless you want the mussels (moulles is dead easy to order). Managed to get a beer and meatball soup in the end. The bar is lovely, lots of character, and the staff inviting and helpful.

One of those old and very cosy bar restaurants in the lovely quartier Marolles where you still can feel the heartbeat of old Brussels. Lovely interior and nice staff.
Huge restaurant but definitely not a tourist trap like the other restaurants around. Good quality mussels, not really cosy atmosphere but still a place you have to visit once reagrding its history.
Tasty food, pretty authentic and unassuming place with very friendly staff. I enjoyed it (even if veggie options are quite limited!)

Wonderful authentic old decor belgian cafe and restaurant. Very good food and seafood. Lovely ambience. Friendly owners and staff. Closes early.
A nice bar with friendly staff and good beer selection, but don’t go looking to get anything to eat at 6pm on Friday night. The kitchen was already closed.
We waited over an hour to get our food and the staff burst into an argument while the restaurant was full. The food was good but not good but not worth all this.
