Visited in December 2016. Table server was really helpful and ensured that we were never thirsty or hungry. Nice atmosphere and seems popular with locals.
The food is really tasty and properly cooked. The best thing is their food has its own unique taste. Presentation, quality and taste everything is up to the expected level from my point of view. As spice as i was just looking for treating me for a long time. Customer service is good. Food is expensive but worth paying for the quality.
The place is closed. I've never missed Ashok's when I came to Brussels but today I stopped by and... it's GONE. They put a sign saying the restaurant would reopen 8/31. However, it's still closed and the inside looks torn down. Remodeling maybe? Not so sure...

1:20 minutes after we arrived we had our main. The food at its best is average and very expensive. A menu for 2 is 80 Euros drinks. The quality of the meat very low, the service.... You better have half day available. We arrived at 19:20 and at 21:50 they finally brought our dessert. Starter, main, dessert.... Never again! Update 105 Euro ! 4 beers 330ml and two menus with a starter a main and dessert
Worst experience in Brussels...food taste...chiken tikka masala ...too sour...nan..to much hard to eat... Bad service...the server kept saying that he is alone to serve. That is not my problem... I am paying the same amount written in menu.. Also initially he expected us to sit at a place where we did not want to... Just for his convenience... Too bad to visit...
There is nothing Indian about this restaurant. Indians are welcoming and believe they will do the best they can for those to come to their home to eat. I went to this restaurant, stood for a long time before someone came to greet. Half the restaurant was empty. Finally a guy comes to speak to me and he is extremely rude and snooty. He refused to give me a table saying he was expecting people to come after 30 minutes. He could have said the same thing nicely asking if he could offer me a take-away. Extremely rude, extremely disappointing and so not Indian in any way! Would not recommend at all. I walked over to the Indian restaurant on Louise and its so nice!
