Run as a platform for 3 years, WEP is since 2015 a registered international non-profit organization (AISBL) based in Brussels, Belgium. WEP both supports European women entrepreneurs, and represents our interests in Europe, through a direct line to decision-makers in the EU. WEP is honoured to be the Secretariat for the Interest Group on Women’s Entrepreneurship (IGWE) at the European Parliament, Chaired by Sirpa Pietikainen, MEP and to have 26 MEPs as our Champions who support women’s entrepreneurship. WEP’s strong and growing membership base makes us the leading voice for advocating on women’s entrepreneurship issues and programs in Europe.
