Beautiful place, crew friendly
like
Friendly staff, convenient opening hours, clean and not crowded. Minus points: - There is no dedicated parking, and the on-street parking is mostly full. - One side of the swimming pool is really shallow. Whenever you do a flip turn, be careful not to hit the ground. - The lockers require coins and you have to carry a key with you all the time (instead of code lockers). It's a good alternative whenever Wezenberg swimming pool is closed.
Is beauty
This sublime Art Deco 1933 indoor swimming pool 33m annex public baths by Ir Algoet & E Van Averbeke is the first to be built in the Antwerp region. The glassworks are great and details are respectfully restored. Open to public & schools for swimming & (private) bathing only. Democratic prices. Warm welcoming staff. Not to be confused with the event location/brasserie in the same building
Nice pool and building
- 33 m indoor pool. Water regulation is good. - went on opening hours 7 am working days and 08 00 on weekends. - at most had 3 swimmers per lane. -very friendly and helpful staff. - be careful any swimming shorts/shorts with pockets aren't allowed. Either slips or swimming shorts that come without pockets. - hygiene is relatively well maintained through feet walk in pool and before the pool showers. A EUR 2 refundable coin needed to unlock the locker. Locker no. Provided on the bracelet key. Loses a star on the opening timings, shallow end being knee standing high and swimming shorts regulations.
Nice spa facilities. Swimming pool bit old and smells a bit old. Part of the swimming pool is only 80 cm, difficult for crawl. Not too crowded in the morning. Need 2 euro for locker
Staff is young but friendly. It's an old building with his former design but it has been renewed and although its only a 125m pool and not much deep space, you can enjoy a swim
