I wish I was able to leave a better ranking. On 23rd October I drove 40 minutes to get some chateau blanc chocolates there. I arrived at 17:40. The shop was supposed to be open till 18. It also seemed open from outside, the lights were on, the stands and decorations were still outside. But there was no one inside! I knocked on the door, rang the bell, waited for 30 minutes(!) but no one showed up. Apparently the shopkeeper decided on his/her own to leave the shop and hung a little note saying that they will be open again from 16, but not even till 18 s/he didn’t come back. That was very frustrating and led me to waste more than an hour. Finally I went to Pierre Marcolini where I had great chocolate and great service.
I went into this chocolate shop with one mission: To get as much Belgian chocolate as possible. Because I can be indecisive, it took me quite a while to figure out which flavors I wanted. The lady at the counter was incredibly friendly and patient with me. Even though the place is small and passersby frequently came in and out of the shop, I never felt pressured to buy something I wasn't sure about getting. So glad I came to this place to do my chocolate shopping!

Best truffle I ever had in my life. So rich in favors but the bitterness of chocolate still remains. Get the intense truffle. It's Good for a gift and to taste them yourself. You will thank me for that. I even wanna go back to Antwerp just to have this chocolate.
Belgium is famous for its chocolates. There are many brands and chains of chocolatiers but nothing comes close to being as good or being as authentic as this place. The handmade chocolates here are some of the best I've ever had in my life. They have some really exotic flavours like Goji berry for example which I've never seen before. You really can feel the aroma and flavor of these different types of chocolates. In Antwerp, for best handmade gourmet chocolates, this is the place to be.
