The real Mexican treat!

One of the oldest mexican place in Antwerp ! Really good food for a reasonable prices...while waiting you can drink the best margarita in town. My first time was in 1994, and now he still serves the delicious fajitas.

You would expect that the owner and chef of a Mexican restaurant in Belgium would have gone at least a couple times to Mexico to get an idea of where the food he’s making and selling comes from, but no this person has never been there and only has negative things to say about Mexico!!! The food was not terrible but not special at all, way Overpriced, extremely slow service, the margarita was a mix he made and put in a regular water bottle!!! The mojito also just ice with some generic mix!!!!This guy also sat down for at least 30 minutes to chat with other customers while we waited for our last dish, and when they finally left he began cooking it so we waited more than 1 hour between dishes! We arrived at 8pm and left at 12:30am just so you get an idea of how long you will be waiting on your food:( To then get the bill of 39 per person If you want traditional good Mexican food I suggest you never go to this restaurant, you will never be so poorly treated wait so long or have such bad drinks and get charged so much in a real Mexican restaurant! FYI I’ve been to Mexico many times I have family there so I know what I’m talking about!;)

We came in at 18:30 to have dinner, we got our food around 21:00...... there was one table before us. The owner is a fun guy, but it looks like he has no clue what he is doing. The food was okay but overpriced.

We waited for about two hours before we got our dinner. What a waste of time. Food is okay, but way overpriced. Did I mention the owner was completely drunk and the kitchen smelled like cigarettes? Don't even bother.
